How is Green Crawler different?
Shoppers that visit Green Crawler will be looking to shop green, instead of a large comparison-shopping engine, like PriceGrabber.com, or database of products, like Google Base, where a small percentage of visitors will be looking to shop green. As we market our site and grow, Green Crawler merchants and their products will be visible to more shoppers that are using Green Crawler for a reason - to shop green.
Shoppers seeking green alternatives can browse and find merchants, brand labels, and products they just happen to stumble upon, which ultimately expands business opportunities and increases sales for merchants that list products on Green Crawler.
Can my company submit its products?
Yes! Green Crawler features an easy product submission process for your company to upload anywhere from a handful of your products to your entire store inventory. Green Crawler's data feed uses the same specifications as Google base, and we accept products in standard formats such as CSV/TSV and RSS 2.0.
This means that merchants who already have RSS feeds can easily submit their content to Green Crawler. Merchants that don't, can create an RSS feed and have the benefit of submitting to Green Crawler, as well as the web's largest database in Google Base.

Ryan Lewis: Founder and CEO
A University of Washington graduate in economics, Ryan is an evolving "greenie"; always trying to practice what he preaches to help the environment that we're all apart of. He's a coffee dependent news junkie, an avid sports fan and a music connoisseur, always trying to expand his horizons and learn new things.
As Chief Executive, Ryan manages the strategic direction of Green Crawler and pressures all of his friends to buy green... from Green Crawler.
Jacob A. Morris: Co-Founder and CIO
Also a University of Washington graduate, Jacob has been recycling since his days as a child, when taking the trash out was part of his weekly chores. Still just as vigilant with his plastics and paper, Jacob has increased his awareness of all things green, especially since teaming up with Ryan and starting Green Crawler. Not nearly as into coffee or music, he does follow a few sports teams, and is always up for discussion on the latest gadget or web technology.
As Chief Information Officer, Jacob creates, develops and manages the web presence, databases and many features of Green Crawler. He enjoys sharing his and Ryan's collaborative efforts with the world.
